Monster Makers
Design a creature from 3D shapes, then turn it into a printable model. Children experiment with features, proportions and details to make their monster completely their own
Children learn the basics of 3D design, create a themed project, and print what they design the same day. The rest of the day includes creative challenges, hands on STEM activities and time to build, test and explore.
Each day has one main 3D design and print project, plus themed activities throughout the day.

Create something for a space mission, such as a spacecraft, rover, alien creation or mission tool. Children think about what their design needs to do while learning how shapes work together in 3D.
Design and print a piece for an original game, such as a character, token, obstacle or game component, then build out the game through creative and problem solving activities.
Invent something unusual, useful or wonderfully strange. Children combine shapes and parts to create a contraption, print the final design, and continue the day with invention and building challenges.
The main project is adapted so younger and older children can work at an appropriate level while sharing the same theme.
